Departments Explain New-Era Aged-care Work and Detail Measures

Recently, the Opinions on Strengthening New-Era Aged-care Work by CCCPC and State Council was issued officially.  In the New Express of December 9th, responsible persons from multiple departments gave detailed explanation. National Development and Reform Commission would draw up related specific regulations to strengthen the planning in the fields of aged-care service system, healthcare supporting system, aged-care product industry and technology and intelligent upgrading jointly with related departments. Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development would promote the construction of elderly-friendly living environment based on the work of urban renewal and renovation of urban old residential area. Ministry of Industry and Information Technology would publish more standards and planning to keep pushing the innovation of aged-care products and service, meeting diversified and multiple-level demands of the elderly. National Health Commission would focus on three aspects, namely elderly health service and management, disabled elderly long-term nursing and the integration of healthcare and aged care.
