In recently, the Launch Event of Consensus on Multidisciplinary Diagnosis and Treatment for Elderly with Cardiovascular Diseases in China was held in Luzhou, Sichuan. Based on multidisciplinary expert diagnosis and treatment including cardiovascular, neurology, geriatrics, medicine and rehabilitation, the Consensus introduces the multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment suggestions and medicine application strategy systemically and overall, and recommends comorbidity management and personal intervening measure for elderly with cardiovascular diseases by chapters of comprehensive evaluation on health condition, treatment on main cardiovascular diseases, risk of cardiovascular diseases caused by other treatments and outlook.
